Henry County has several Covid vaccination PODS set up in March and April and over the past two weeks we have also been assigned additional vaccines with very short notice. One of which is a POD on March 12. This one will be much larger than any that we have conducted so far and will require many more volunteers to make it work!

Volunteers help us to register people for their second dose while they are in their 15 or 30 minute observation time after receiving the first dose. We provide iPads and many of us just use our phones to get each person registered. It is very easy and we will show each person how to do it. I have listed the times of each POD below and volunteers are welcome to work any block of time they would like on any day. Lunch is provided.

The events are all outdoor events so volunteers should dress appropriately for the day’s weather. Those interested can contact Suzie Helbert by phone or email and I will get them registered to volunteer and directions on the best way to enter the Speedway and volunteer parking.

Saturday, March 20: 10:00am-6:00pm

Saturday, March 27: 10:00am-6:00pm

Friday, April 16: 7:00am-7:00pm
